and student parking lots.
ACT
Prep: Northwest Missouri State University is
hosting three ACT Prep Shops for high school Juniors and Seniors. The prep
shops are September 18th in St. Joseph,
September 25th in Maryville, and October 16th in Liberty. The program will
run from 9:00 to 2:00, with check-in at 8:30. Students are responsible for
their own lunch and will be given an hour for lunch break. The only
thing you need to bring is a calculator. The prep shops are facilitated by
employees of NWMSU and are designed to provide students with the techniques
and skills needed to be successful in taking the ACT exam. The prep shop
costs $40.00 and should be paid in advance. See me to get registered early.
Space is limited.
ACT
Prep: Missouri Western State University is hosting an ACT Prep Course
this fall. The five week course will take place on Saturdays from 9:00-1:00,
September 18th through October 16th. The cost of the course is $143.50.
Experienced instructors will teach you test-taking strategies and help you
improve your subject skills. Must enroll by Friday, September 10th. See
Ms. Stevenson
to get registered.
ACT:
The next
ACT exam is October 23rd. Registration deadline is September 17th.
See Ms. Stevenson for an ACT packet. You may
also register online. Online registration is much quicker, especially if
you plan to take the test more than one time!

ATTENTION DUAL
CREDIT STUDENTS: Enrollment forms and tuition for Missouri Valley is due
Friday, September 10th. Enrollment forms and tuition for Central Methodist
College (A&P only) is due Friday, September 24th. Ms. Stevenson
Pictures:
Sports
pictures will be taken on September 9th with Murphy's Studio after school at
3:15. The order of pictures will be - girls and boys softball, JH and HS
cheerleaders, and JH and HS football.
Last year's
baseball boys-check to make sure you have returned
your uniforms. We do not have enough smaller sizes for the softball team.
Football T-shirts: Coach
Anderson will be placing another order for football t-shirts. Shirts are
$16.00 each and you may put a name on the back. See Carrie in the
Superintendent's Office or see Coach Anderson
