- Congratulations
to the District 13 Champions. The
girls basketball game on Tuesday, 3/9, was on the Cameron radio
station - 100.1 @ 6:00 p.m.. Go Lady Wildcats!!! The Sectional
girls basketball game was played at the St. Joseph Civic Arena on
Tuesday, 3/9 at 6:00 p.m. against Stanberry.

Southwest
Sophomore Maresa Sykes was named to the all CLAA conference cheer squad.
- Dr. Lowrey will be conducting dental screenings for PK-6th on March 18.
- ALL BOYS HOME BASKETBALL UNIFORMS are due now. They should be clean. Coach Boatwright

Quarter is 3/12. Grades must be entered by 3/17. Grades will be printed
on 3/18 @ 8:00 a.m.
- JH & HS Quiz Bowl Wednesday, 3/10, against Breckenridge here after school. Students meet in the
library at 3:30. The meet will begin around 3:45. Quiz bowl t-shirts are in. Please pick them up in Ms. Nuttall's room with
your $10.00.
- Seniors-All local scholarships are on the server in a folder under your individual names. These are due to me by April 2. I have added 2 additional scholarships in your folder, the Elks Scholarship and the Dawn Community Improvement Association Scholarship. Also, in your Senior Newsletter I had information regarding the John M. Hoyt Memorial Scholarship sponsored by Bank Midwest. Unfortunately, they are not sponsoring the scholarship this year. I am still waiting for confirmation of the Wayne Rawie Memorial Scholarship. The FFA/FCCLA Scholarship sponsored through Citizens' s Bank & Trust will not be offered this year.

Tournament 3/8-3/12 - Southwest boys play Monday, 3/8 @ 6:00 against Meadville B. Southwest Girls will play
Wednesday @ 5:00 against the winner of the Meadville B and Breckenridge game on Monday @ 7:00 p.m..
- Baseball
players - hats and socks are available with Coach Boatwright. Cost is $20 for both items. The
2010 Schedule is complete and is posted on the
web. Practice will start after school starting March 8. If weather is bad, there may be some morning practices in the gym at 6:30 a.m.
Baseball sign-up sheet is posted outside the office.
- District Skills USA
Collision Repair Contest was on 2/27/10. Drew Dawkins earned 1st Place in Auto Refinishing for the 2nd year in a row, and Aaron Reed earned 3rd Place in Body Repair. Both are now qualified to go to State Skills USA Competition.
- Juniors and
Seniors - Northwest Missouri State University in Maryville is again hosting an ACT Prep Shop for Juniors and Seniors. The prep shop will be held on Saturday, March 13 from 8:30-2:30. The cost is $35.00. Registration deadline
was March 2. See me if you are interested. Ms. Stevenson
