It was a fun-filled Friday in Mrs. Murray’s 8th grade math class! Students took on the challenge of designing their very own tiny homes—with one important rule: they could use no more than 500 square feet!

With limited space, students had to get creative! They worked to include the essentials, carefully considered their wants vs. needs, and made thoughtful decisions about how to use every square foot. This engaging project brought together team work, problem-solving, creative thinking, budgeting for space, and even a little interior design!

Way to go, Mrs. Murray and our 8th graders! What a fun way to take math beyond the classroom and put it into practice!

What a great day at Southwest! Our 4th and 5th graders got some hands-on experience with CPR, Stop the Bleed, and AED basics thanks to our amazing Nurse Tatum!

Our students jumped right in, learned important emergency skills, and had a great time doing it! We’re so proud of their enthusiasm and willingness to learn.

A huge thank-you to Nurse Tatum for helping prepare our students to be ready when it matters most!
