We are excited announce that the Southwest Livingston County R1 School cafeteria staff has achieved the prestigious "Shooting Star" designation for the second year in a row!
This honor is awarded to establishments that score a perfect 100% on their Food Establishment Sanitation Inspection, demonstrating an exceptional commitment to food safety protocols.
The dedicated team is led by Julie Larson, who has extensive experience in food service including 7 years at Southwest, 9 years at Head Start and five years at Chillicothe R-II. Paige Dawkins makes up the other half of the team that consistently goes above and beyond. Their hard work ensures that students receive meals prepared in the safest and cleanest environment possible.
The "Shooting Star" designation, which began in 2022, recognizes those who not only meet but exceed the high standards set for food safety. It serves as an inspiration for others to strive for the same level of excellence.
Way to go Wildcats!
